We take about half an hour flight from Kathmandu(Capital of Nepal) to Lukla. The Everest base Camp trek Starting from Lukla 2,800 m (9,186 ft), a small town containing an airstrip “Hillary-Tenzing Airport” (the only airport in the region), the trek passes through numerous Sherpa villages and variety of Tibetan influenced monasteries, while conceding at Kala Patthar 5,550 m (18,204 ft). Itinerary
Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by Special Trek’s Airport Representative, and transfer to hotel. Introduction with the Guide, Brief of the Program .Check list of the Equipment, Handover the Necessary document, Overnight at hotel.
Early in the morning, at 05.30, drive to Tribhuwan International Airport (Domestic terminal) . After 35 minutes scenic flight to Lukla (2800m.), we start our trek to Phakding (2610 m) – 3.30 hours easy walking mostly on Nepali flat trail. Overnight at hotel.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3445 m.). Overnight at Hotel
Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar This is a day for acclimatization. We have a fine walk around the valley to adjust with thin air. Namche Bazaar is the gateway of the Everest. We will take you to the museum where you can see unique flora and fauna, collections of old utensils used by sherpa. Also you can see panoramic view of Everest, AmaDablam and many more. Overnight at hotel.
Trek to Tengboche (3860m). As we reach at Tengboche, we visit Tengboche monastery. Then we take you to observe the prayer ceremony in the monastery. Over night at hotel.
Trek to Dingboche (4350 m.). Overnight at Hotel.
Trek to Lobuche (4955 m.). Overnight at Hotel
Trek to Ghorakshep (5165 m.). Overnight at Guest House.
Trek to Everest Base camp (5364 m.) and return to Ghorakshep. Overnight at Guest House.
Hiking to Kalapathar (5550m.)We hike up to Kalapathar (5550 m.), an excellent viewpoint to observe the Mount. Everest and innumerable spectacular mountains views. Then trek back to Pheriche (4270m). Overnight at Guest House.
Trek back to Khumjung Village (3780 m.). Overnight at Guest House.
Trek down to Phakding (2610 m.). Overnight at Hotel.
Trek down to Lukla. Overnight at Hotel.
Morning fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Overnight at hotel.
Free day in Kathmandu (it’s also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla). Overnight at hotel.
Drive to Airport for your home departure. Farewell!!
